Where are you located, and how do I find you?

We're at 640 South 6th Street in Hot Springs, SD. If you're coming in on Highway 385, you can see the motel from the road, which makes it simple to spot after a long drive. We're close to the Fall River trail, so it's an easy walk from your room to the water if you want to stretch your legs.

We're also within easy reach of the big draws in the southern Black Hills. Wind Cave National Park is a short drive north, the Mammoth Site is just a few minutes away in town, and downtown Hot Springs with its sandstone buildings and shops is close by too.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in starts in the afternoon and check-out is in the morning. If you're going to arrive late because of traffic, a long hike, or a slow day of sightseeing, give us a call ahead of time and we'll make sure someone is ready for you. We're a small, family-run place, so a quick phone call really does get to the right person.

If you need a later check-out, just ask. We can't always promise it, but when the day allows we're happy to work with you.

Do kids stay free, and is the motel good for families?

Kids 12 and under stay free with the adults in the room, which helps a lot when you're traveling as a family. We keep things easy for parents: rooms have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and there's complimentary mini golf right here so the kids have something to do after a day in the car.

The outdoor heated pool is a favorite with families in the warmer months. There's also guest laundry on-site, which comes in handy when you're a few days into a road trip and running low on clean clothes.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, we serve a free continental breakfast every morning, so you can eat before you head out to Wind Cave or the Mammoth Site. Free Wi-Fi is included too, along with at-door parking so you can unload right next to your room.

Every room has a new pillow-top mattress, plus a recliner, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. After a full day of walking trails and touring caves, a good bed makes a real difference, and that's one thing we don't skimp on.
