Gray R I really enjoyed my stay at the Hills Inn. The owner was very friendly and had great travel advice for checking out the Black Hills and the general area of South Dakota. The room was nice and clean, and I really appreciated the free minigolf/put-put that we were able to play! The location felt good too to check out surrounding spots, such as Wind Cave, SD.

We enjoyed our one night stay. A unique motel. Was a great location to the Mammoth Dig Site and Fossil Finds Museum. Our room was nice and clean, nice TV, Clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast had biscuits and gravy, toast, your basic breakfast, was included with the stay. They had mini golf also available, but we arrived late and left by 9:30am so didn’t have the chance to enjoy it, but looked like a fun course. If we are back in the area we would stay here again. RH My husband and I had a bit of a travel delay getting in late, but the owner went above and beyond—he stayed up just to make sure we got checked in smoothly. That kind of hospitality is rare and so appreciated! The room itself may look a little dated, but it was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. Everything was well cared for, and we slept great. You can tell the owners take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a quiet, friendly place with genuine service, this is it. Would definitely stay again!
